►Skin care Tip of the month from Shelly:

Do you have dry skin? and the winter weather is making it super dry?

Here are some ideas that will help:
- use a humidifier
- drink more water
- decrease coffee consumption
- eat more fruits and vegetables
- exercise
- Don't use scalding hot water in showers or when washing your face. Try a slightly cooler temperature.
- NEVER apply vaseline on face or lips. It doesn't allow skin to breathe properly. It does not actually have the ability to hydrate your skin. It is just a thick layer of skin clogging cream.
- apply a special body oil before applying body lotion to seal in more moisture
- for facial care, increase your usage of a super hydrating mask up to 3x per week.
Ie. Anna Lotan Golden Facial Mask

A soft rich mask that is mild and friendly to all skin types. Excellent protection for your skin from dryness. Gives a velvety smooth feel even after a single application. Seabuckthorn gives the mask a unique golden colour plus a wealth of active nutrients and vitamins. Anti-aging benefits too!

►Body care Tip of the month from Holistic Nutritionist Jill:

It is a great time now to try some new, healthy and yummy recipes.  Healthy, good for your body foods will help improve your immune system, improve overall health,  lower cholesterol, lower fat, lower chances of heart attack, stroke and degenerative diseases.

Here is a very yummy recipe that Shelly and her friends all love. Even the biggest junk food addicts loved this healthy alternative.

Organic & Gluten Free Pizza:
- Gluten free pizza dough/pre-made crusts (usually found in the freezer sections)
- Organic tomatoes sliced
- Organic Green cubed
- Organic Garlic minced
- Organic Broccoli
- Organic Pizza sauce
- Organic mushrooms sliced
- Organic Basil
- Daiya. dairy, lactose, casein, gluten, soy free mozerella style shreds. (this actually tastes really close to cheese. This is the best non-cheese version we've tried).  Tastes really good. No offensive tastes or smells.
Melts like cheese too!

Prep time: 5-10 mins
Cook time: 6-8 mins in oven at approx 400 degrees.

Fast, simple, healthy, fresh, tasty!
Make many pizzas to try all different topping combinations. Gluten free crusts are generally smaller sized than regular crusts.
or Have a pizza party with your friends and have fun trying each others' creations.
Margherita is another one of our favs too!
